Women in Country Music: Songs and Conversations

Join us for a night of country music and conversation at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, at the Two Mississippi Museums. Inspired by the The World of Marty Stuart special exhibit, the program will feature country performers from Mississippi who will share their musical inspirations and favorite artists and perform a few songs.

This free event will feature components from the 2020 temporary exhibit Mississippi Distilled: Prohibition, Piety, and Politics

A panel from the Mississippi Press Association will discuss the impact of community journalism across Mississippi over the past 160 years at noon on Wednesday, April 22, as part of the History Is Lunch series. Panelists include Anita Lee, Natalie Perkins, Jamie Patterson, and moderator Charles Overby.
