History Is Lunch: Bruce Watson, “Freedom Summer from the Ground Up in Mississippi”

At noon on Wednesday, July 24, Bruce Watson will present “Freedom Summer from the Ground Up in Mississippi.” as part of the History Is Lunch series. The program will take place in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum building and stream live on the MDAH Facebook page and YouTube channel. Join us for the Possum Ridge: Paint a Train workshop at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 13, at the Two Mississippi Museums. This family-friendly event will allow for visitors to assemble and paint a model train after a guided tour highlighting key features of the exhibit on display through December 31.
