Trick or Treat at the Two Mississippi Musuems

Join us for Trick or Treat at the Two Mississippi Museums on Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Discover Mississippi history at our scavenger hunt and visit our trick-or-treat stations placed throughout the building for spirited holiday fun. Admission to the museums is free for visitors wearing a costume. Make plans to participate in the Third Annual Two Mississippi Museums Monster March costume parade at 11 a.m., where children are encouraged to dress up! Join us at noon on Wednesday, November 19, for History Is Lunch as teachers and students who helped lay the foundation for Head Start share their stories of the program’s early years. What began in 1965 as an experiment in early childhood education has grown into a nationwide program that today serves nearly 20,000 low-income children and families across Mississippi.
