Join us for Sunday Screening: Short Films Showcase at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 16, in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums. This showcase will feature “Hotaru,” “(I'm Not) Your Negroni,” and “Our Rebellious Hearts.” All three short films are collectively under an hour and explore themes of identity, change, and resilience. At noon Wednesday, October 22, Jay Wesley, author of Choctaw Traditions: Stories of the Life and Customs of the Mississippi Choctaw, and Eddie Johnson, a tribal member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, will discuss a collection of stories from all nine Choctaw communities that captures the rich detail and complexity of Choctaw life as part of the History Is Lunch series.
