Juneteenth Jubilee

Join us for Juneteenth Jubilee at the Two Mississippi Museums! Sponsored by Ingalls Shipbuilding, this evening program will celebrate Black empowerment and community, featuring a variety of activities in collaboration with Briarwood Arts Center. The festivity will include Juneteenth-themed crafts, card and yard games, Juneteenth-themed tours at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., a line dance workshop with Aaron Honeysuckle at 5:30 p.m., and performances by The Master's Touch DrumLine, LLC, Jasmine JT Thomas, Clifton Cotten, and the Anderson United Methodist Church youth dance ministry. To commemorate the 208th anniversary of Mississippi’s admission as the twentieth state in the Union, education staff from the Two Mississippi Museums will host free flash tours at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, in the Museum of Mississippi History.
