At noon Wednesday, February 5, Jim Wiggins will present “Outliving the White Lie: A Southerner's Historical, Genealogical, and Personal Journey” as part of the History Is Lunch series. Outliving the White Lie looks squarely at the many untruths regarding the history and legacy of race that has proliferated among white Americans, from the misrepresentations of Black Confederates to the myth of a 'post-racial' America. The program will take place in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums and will stream live on the MDAH Facebook page and YouTube channel.
