Come watch Kinetic Etchings lead a dance performance of Cross to Bear on Saturday, October 18, at 3 p.m. in the Craig H. Nielsen auditorium at the Two Mississippi Museums. Cross to Bear is inspired by the experiences of Louisiana and Mississippi residents during Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. At noon Wednesday, November 12, author Jere Nash will discuss his book, Reconstruction in Mississippi, 1862-1877, a detailed and comprehensive history of the period following the Civil War, as part of the History Is Lunch series. This program will take place in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums.
